The RiVaSmart Smart Door Magnetic Detector D1 Series is a contact sensor with native Matter support, designed to monitor the open/close status of doors, windows, and other entry points. Using magnetic reed switch technology, it provides instant status updates and security alerts while seamlessly integrating with all Matter-compatible smart home ecosystems.

How It Works

The D1 Series consists of two components – a sensor unit and a magnet. When the door or window is closed, the magnet keeps the reed switch in the sensor unit closed. When opened, the magnet moves away, opening the switch and triggering an immediate status change. With Matter over Thread connectivity, it sends real-time notifications to your smartphone and can trigger automated scenes like turning on lights when a door opens or activating security systems when unauthorized access is detected.
