Aqara Smoke Detector
Smart smoke detection with remote alerts and interconnected safety
The Aqara Smoke Detector is a photoelectric smoke alarm engineered to deliver fast,
reliable detection of slow‑smoldering and flaming fires. The Aqara Smoke Detector provides loud 85dB
audible alerts, instant push notifications via Zigbee to your smart hub, and multi‑device interconnect
for whole‑home alarm synchronization—ensuring early warning and maximum safety.
Advanced Smoke Detection for Comprehensive Fire Safety
Using photoelectric sensing technology, the Aqara Smoke Detector senses smoke particles
by measuring light scattering inside its detection chamber. When smoke is detected, the detector triggers
its 85dB alarm, flashes the LED indicator, and sends immediate Zigbee push notifications to paired devices.
Multiple detectors may be interconnected to ensure every unit in the network sounds when one detects smoke.
How It Works
The detector continuously monitors air for smoke particulates. Photoelectric sensing reduces false alarms
from cooking or dust while remaining highly responsive to smoldering fires. Integration with Zigbee allows
the sensor to notify your hub and smartphone quickly, enabling automated safety workflows (e.g., lighting
on, HVAC off, smart lock unlock).
