The W100 provides precise temperature readings (±0.2°C typical) and accurate humidity monitoring (±2% RH in typical ranges), visible instantly on its 3.4‑inch LCD. Use its three physical buttons to run scenes or control HVAC devices — single, double and long presses can be programmed for up to nine separate actions, making the W100 both a sensor and a convenient physical controller for everyday comfort.
How the Aqara Climate Sensor W100 Works
The device samples temperature and humidity at configurable intervals and broadcasts readings over Thread (Matter) or Zigbee to your hub. In Thread/Matter mode it integrates with Matter ecosystems; in Zigbee mode it connects to Aqara Zigbee hubs and third‑party Zigbee platforms. You can also link an external sensor to display remote readings (monitor two spaces on a single W100) and create automations such as turning on AC, humidifiers, or dehumidifiers when thresholds are crossed.
